The Jane

We call it "The Jane" this charming summer dress takes inspiration from classic dresses for girls that have stood the test of time.

This little dress is really lovely, it is a classic shape, and it is comfortable. It will look fabulous at a summer wedding, a church picnic, eating out, on vacation at the resort and on the school playground. Every little girl should feel pretty and feel comfortable and The Jane is ready for anything.

We will be making these up out of every scrap of fabric we can find because we love them! So far we can show them off in yellow and in blue:

JonJons in Seersucker

JonJons are kind of our thing. We love them. We seem to sell them more than anything else. We are looking forward to adding fabrics to our fabric collection but we need to sell off what we have first! So we've been cutting and sewing up the blue striped seersucker with the crab detail, the red white and blue striped seersucker and the orange striped seersucker with owl detail. We do love the critter detail embroidery!

Knit Dresses

Well it has been a little while since we added to the blog. There was Thanksgiving of course, and then Christmas and now it is ski season (ski season is a big deal to 1/2 of Whigs & Tories staff of two)
and we have been stitching away, the best place to keep up with our latest is Instagram https://www.instagram.com/whigs_tories/

But we've been playing with knits and a new pattern we've dubbed "The Playground Dress" and we are having loads of fun. Which is perfect because this dress is all about fun.
